About Our Kits

If you are looking for some fun, along with the desire for some experimentation without worrying about devaluing your priceless Gibson Les Paul - then a guitar kit could be for you!

It is important to realise that these kits are not substitutes for the real thing e.g. fenders or gibsons, if you want a fender stratocaster then buy one if you can afford one! If you want a very reasonably priced simple guitar to practice on, or to spend time upgrading, tinkering or trying new things out on, then one of our guitar kits would be perfect.

The Guitar Kits are in a semi finished state. What this means is you will still have quite some work to do on it - but this is the point of buying a kit. The body will be sanded to a degree, but will still require some finer sanding by yourself to get rid of any imperfections in the wood. The headstock is 'blank' which gives you the ability to make it shaped the way you want it. Some soldering of the electrics will be required.

Kits currently come with a basic wiring diagram only, however lots of supporting information can be found online through some great 3rd Party sites to help you including wiring the guitar electronics, body finishing and head stock templates etc. Please note - we are not able to provide technical support - the challenge is yours if you want it!

If this challenge sounds like something you are interested in, then you have definitely come to the right place!
